Conceived of on the occasion of Lexier’s exhibition “Things Exist” at Birch Contemporary (Toronto), this collaborative project draws on the artists’ shared visual lexicon.
The markings, which were sourced from Lexier’s vast archive of scavenged printed cardboard, have been meticulously handpainted by Partheniou onto the MDF box replicas, which are drawn from her exhibition “Never Odd or Even” of the previous year.
