Odd One Out
Odd One Out, 2015
acrylic on wood, canvas, altered desk, custom shelf
Exhibited at the Art Gallery of Peterborough during an institutional state of transition. Due to structural issues, the gallery temporarily relocated to a second floor space in the downtown core. The new location necessitated an open concept layout, placing the gallery in direct relationship to the exposed offices, education center and gallery shop. Odd One Out draws references from and dialogues with all of these spaces, and also makes reference to the renovation underway in the main space.
